How To Select Sunglasses
Saturday, February 6th, 2010There is nothing to expect from cheap sunglasses other than poor quality. On the other hand, reputed brand names are a guarantee of great quality standards because this is how they preserve reputation and continue tradition. Lots of harm can be caused to the eye if low quality sunglasses are used. Dark lenses cause a dilation of the pupil, thus the entrance gate for the infrareds and ultraviolets will be a lot higher in the absence of UV protection features. The radiations could impair sight and cause a wide range of ophthalmic dysfunctions such as affections of the crystalline or cataract.
Another reason why you should always try to buy the best sunglasses possible is image distortion. This is often caused by plastic lenses that have faulty dioptric values which have not been established by medical prescription. Face match and comfort make other criteria for appreciating the features of the best sunglasses. Physiognomy plays an important role in the choice of sunglasses, and you will understand the difference between matching and not-matching glasses by trying several pairs on. Then, the best sunglasses also reduce the light reflection or glare by the presence of an anti-polarizing coating.
Can lens color influence a classification of the best sunglasses? Well, there are different opinions here. The capacity to reduce light intensity and absorb the colors of the visible spectrum varies with the color. There are categories of wearers who cannot use very dark lenses because they would impair vision: gray is usually preferred by drivers, pilots and many other users. Green lenses have the highest efficiency in absorbing IR and UV radiation but they make certain colors hard to distinguish. Greeninterferes with the perception of blue, red, orange and violet. Nevertheless, when you are on vacation in some exotic location, green lenses make the best sunglasses, not to mention the relaxing effect of the color.
Brown lenses are suitable in warm and cold environments as well, and radiations are very well absorbed. Yellow lenses on the other hand are not useful against intense brightness but are great for foggy weather or driving at sunset. Protection and comfort, these is what the best sunglasses should provide. Wraparounds have superior features too because they prevent the UV rays to affect vision on the sides of the eyes. And keep in mind that the price should not reflect the special design of the frames or their glamorous look but the properties of the lenses. Eye protection is the most important!

The Mini Projector - My Little Boy’s Request
Saturday, February 6th, 2010My ten-year old boy was always insisting to have an EyeClops Mini Projector. I thought he didn’t need it so I was hesitant. He really tried to convince me until the day I finally agreed.
What convinced me the most was the reliable, high-quality features of the mini projector. My son persuaded me to see the details of the mini projector. It can project television, movies, video games, DVD players, iPod, digital cameras and other compatible digital devices.
My son was very happy when I bought him a mini projector because he had been waiting for such a long time. My son was never been this excited.
My son quickly opened the box and tried to use the mini projector once it was delivered to our house. I can se how thrilled he was. I went with him and assisted him in setting it up. My son likes to collect and use technological devices. He has several gadgets like two iPods, three digital cameras, X-Box, Playstation, DVD players and a lot more. You can actually name all popular devices. He wanted to have a mini projector the first time he saw it.
I have realized that the projector could be like a major collection of my son’s devices because any peripherals can be connected with it. He can play games with his PSP or PlayStation and connect it with the projector. He can also do that with the other devices. It’s amazing to see how easy and quick to hook up using cables and adapters. My little boy can actually do it by himself.
Instead of turning on the television, he would watch movies using his mini projector. He will just project it through his wall or the ceiling of his room. I don’t worry much because my young boy follows instructions. We both made a deal that when he does good things to everything, I would give him anything he wants. Before he uses any of his collection, he has to ask my permission first then I will give him few hours to do so.
Like other parents, I want my son to balance both his studies and playing time. Before he does everything with his games or watching TV and movies, I make sure his homework is done and topics are reviewed. My son manages to do well and maintains his good grades in school. I promised to give him anything he wants as long as he does good in school. I would not take a risk to give him something that will change his concept regarding studying.
Although we had some issues about the mini projector, my son proved to me that the device is not just for entertainment and his own pleasure. He invites me to watch movies with him. That allows for the both of us to spend time together. He invites me to sit, relax and just watch comedy films or play virtual games with him. I had fun using those things also. I became a mother and a friend at the same to my boy since then.
